This week in Class 5, we have been running our own enterprise project with the aim of raising at least £125 which we would like to use towards our incredible day trip to Frank Chapman Centre next half term.
Firstly, we began by planning our enterprise project. We thought carefully about how best to spend our £50 budget, ensuring that our expenditure was low to increase the amount of profit we could make!
We decided to hold a pop-up shop based on our space theme this Half Term.
We have worked as a team to create:
– Rocket biscuits
– Alien page markers
– Rocket bookmarks
– Space rock cakes
– Planet greetings cards
– Bespoke space landscape artwork
– Alien poo
– Alien masks
We worked as a team to set up our pop-up shop, which we invited the whole school too! Over the course of the afternoon, we sold all of our items and raised an amazing total!

Lights! Camera! Action!

On Wednesday 30th November, we performed our World War II-inspired class assembly to our parents, teachers and the rest of the school. We worked incredibly hard to perfect our performance, learning a song, performing our English work and sharing pictures from our trip to Bewdley Museum.
We began our assembly by re-creating a World War II air raid, running through the audience to find shelter. To end our assembly, we celebrated VE Day, launching party poppers and singing ‘Celebrate!’. We really enjoyed sharing our fantastic learning from this term with our audience. Miss Penny even described our assembly as the best she has ever seen!
