Year 4 Blog

17/2/17

Our class assembly was spectacular, magnificent, breath taking and lots of fun. It was all about the Romans and we marched in as Roman soldiers chanting a Roman marching song. We also HAILED Miss Heaton as our Ceaser.
We always have shared story and in January we were looking at a book called Mr. Stink by David Walliams and the ending was so emotional. Did you know that we love to read?
Year 4 are legions of learners. We have become Roman soldiers. Italy is where the Romans came from and its capital city is Rome. We have learned about important buildings there like the Colosseum, the Bath Houses, and the amphitheatres. We’ve also learned how to read and write in Roman numerals and in Italian!
We’ve loved our learning and have had fun!
